Open Call — ATLAS Puerto Rico 2026

ATLAS Puerto Rico 2026 celebrates its 5th anniversary as an international contemporary dance platform dedicated to artistic exchange, performance, education, and community. From October 26 to November 1, 2026, artists from Puerto Rico and around the world will gather at the Teatro Victoria Espinosa in Santurce for a week of performances, workshops, conversations, and cultural connection.

Organized by NA2 Dance Theater Corp., ATLAS Puerto Rico continues creating bridges between local and international artists through movement, creativity, and exchange in the Caribbean.

For this special 5th anniversary edition, ATLAS Puerto Rico invites choreographers, dance companies, movement artists, and contemporary creators to submit work for consideration.

About ATLAS Puerto Rico

ATLAS Puerto Rico is an international contemporary dance congress and exhibition platform based in Puerto Rico. The festival supports artistic exchange through performances, workshops, artist talks, networking opportunities, and educational programming.

Since its creation, ATLAS Puerto Rico has welcomed artists, educators, and collaborators from Puerto Rico, the United States, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Spain, and beyond, creating an expanding international network rooted in contemporary dance and cultural exchange.

Open Call — Performance Exhibition

ATLAS Puerto Rico is seeking contemporary dance works for its 2026 International Exhibition Program.

Open to:

Solo works
Duets
Group pieces
Contemporary movement-based performance works

To facilitate technical transitions and the dynamic structure of the festival, selected works should ideally require minimal technical setup and little to no props/scenic elements.

Suggested duration: 7–10 minutes (Works outside this range may still be considered.)

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Selected artists may be announced progressively throughout the open call period. The application process will remain open until July 2026 or until all available performance slots are filled.

Artists are encouraged to apply early.
